In Case of Emergency, Blame the Author

April 11 @ 7:00 pm 9:00 pm

In Case of Emergency, Blame the Author written over a medical heart diagram

Created and Featuring the Theatre Arts & Performance Graduating Ensemble

Co-presented by Centennial College Theatre Arts & Performance and ReDefine Arts

Inspired by literary gems by Pirandello, Shelley, and Shakespeare, In Case of Emergency, Blame the Author is about a company of actors putting on a show.

When strange people claiming to be “characters” intrude upon their rehearsal, chaos unfolds on all sides. No one knows what to do about it, especially the director.

Will the company attempt to continue with their rehearsal like nothing happened or listen to the uninvited characters’ stories?

A powerful force pulls the players and characters into the twilight zone of comedy and drama, but the heart of the matter lies with a group of actors just trying to find their spotlight and a chance to tell their story before it’s too late.
