Dog Days (Online Exhibition)

An online book/exhibition hosted by the John B. Aird Gallery. This was an open call for any artists who had “dog” imagery. Which I have and was accepted. My original drawing is quite large – 5 ft x 15 ft. But that doesn’t matter in the cybersphere. The title is “Won’t Go To Waste”. A riff on what is likely to happen if all of us humans suddenly disappeared. That’s my dog Zephyr in the starring role.

I didn’t know what to expect – an exhibition of dog imagery could be seriously underwhelming. But on the contrary, this is an intelligently curated exhibition at times provocative and at other times thoroughly entertaining. The original format was digitally interactive. The book now has been archived in a PDF format. Just imagine Jane Siberry singing “Everything Reminds Me of My Dog” – you will get the vibe!
